Le menu du restaurant Riffelhaus 1853 propose des spécialités suisses traditionnelles et des classiques internationaux avec la signature indubitable d’Alain Kuster. En plus du ragoût d’agneau des Alpes, le rösti est un plat préféré de nombreux habitués. Les ingrédients sont simples : pommes de terre, sel et poivre, c’est tout. Le véritable art est la préparation des pommes de terre rissolées à 2500 mètres d’altitude.

Buffet & Bar Riffelberg

Dans l’espace libre-service du Buffet & Bar Riffelberg, le stand des spätzle constitue une attraction particulière. Le bar jouit également d’une grande popularité. Dans la nouvelle annexe, un magnifique emplacement a été réservé à la grande et impressionnante toile «Vue du Cervin, de la Dent Blanche et des sommets environnants» de François Gos. Le restaurant de montagne familial, situé dans un endroit de choix au cœur d’un domaine de randonnée et de ski, est très facilement accessible. Il se trouve à quelques mètres de la gare ferroviaire du Gornergratbahn et directement à la station supérieure de la télécabine Riffelberg-Express.

Restaurant vis-à-vis

La carte propose des mets classiques que notre brigade de cuisine prépare avec des produits régionaux et beaucoup d’amour. L’équipe du restaurant «vis-à-vis» se met en quatre pour les clients qui passent au moins une nuit à l’hôtel 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat en leur servant également le soir un repas exceptionnel à quatre services.

Blue Lounge

Dégustez une collation et une boisson sur la grande terrasse, en profitant de la vue exceptionnelle sur le Cervin, d’une beauté indescriptible. De Noël à Pâques, le Blue Lounge offre de la musique en direct avec des groupes ou des DJ. Quand le soleil se fait discret, vous pouvez toujours trouver un siège confortable à l’intérieur. Le Blue Lounge est situé tout près de la gare de Blauherd et est donc un point de rencontre idéal pour les non-skieurs.

Ce petit restaurant de fromages est un endroit où l’on se sent bien. La jeune équipe vit «saycheese!». Clins d’œil compris. L’atmosphère y est détendue. Affinés selon un admirable savoir-faire et dans l’amour du détail, les fromages qui y sont servis et préparés témoignent d’une véritable passion. La qualité des différents fromages est excellente. Une délicieuse fondue dégustée au «saycheese!» est un pur bonheur.

Diners can feast on the finest local cheese-based specialities, including raclette, fondue and Käseschnitte (Swiss cheese on toast), all washed down with a fine local wine. And you can do it all while taking in the spectacular scenery on the outdoor terrace. What could be better? Käsestube Furgg is just below the Trockener Steg in the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise ski area. You’ll find it near the Garten piste, right next to the chairlift valley station.

The menu in the Riffelhaus 1853 restaurant features traditional Swiss specialties and international classics with the unmistakable signature of Alain Kuster. In addition to the alpine lamb stew, the rösti is a favorite dish of many regular guests. The ingredients are simple: potatoes, salt and pepper, that’s it. The real art is the preparation of the hash browns at 2500 meters above sea level.

Buffet & Bar Riffelberg’s self-service spätzle stand is a stand-out attraction, and the bar is very popular too. Vue du Cervin, de la Dent Blanche et des sommets environnants (View of Cervin, the Dent Blanche and surrounding peaks), an impressively large oil painting by Geneva-born artist François Gos, has found a perfect new home in the recently completed extension. With a perfect location in the heart of the skiing and walking arena, this family-friendly restaurant is easy to find too. It is located just a few meters from the Gornergrat cogwheel railway station and right next to the mountain station of the Riffelberg Express gondola.

Wenn die Sonne mal Pause macht, laden drinnen gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten zum Verweilen ein. Die Blue Lounge liegt ganz in der Nähe der Bahnstation Blauherd und ist deshalb auch ein idealer Treffpunkt für Nichtskifahrer.

Im neu eingerichteten Anbau hat das beeindruckend grosse Ölbild «Vue du Cervin, de la Dent Blanche et des sommets environnants» von François Gos einen schönen Platz gefunden. Das familienfreundliche Bergrestaurant an bester Lage mitten in der Wander- und Skiarena ist sehr gut erreichbar. Es liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt von der Haltestelle der Gornergratbahn und direkt an der Bergstation der Gondelbahn Riffelberg-Express.

Auf der Speisekarte im Restaurant Riffelhaus 1853 stehen traditionelle Schweizer Spezialitäten und internationale Klassiker mit der unverkennbaren Handschrift von Alain Kuster. Neben dem Ragout vom Alpenlamm ist die Rösti ein Lieblingsgericht vieler Stammgäste. Die Zutaten sind einfach: Kartoffeln, Salz und Pfeffer, das war’s schon. Die eigentliche Kunst ist die Zubereitung der Rösti auf 2500 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel.
